The compost factory requires brush and grasses that have been seasoned during the
winter. Settled piles are then moved to the shredders in February.
By March the large custom composter begins fermenting an organic
brew that includes molasses and river bottom dirt. After three weeks
the composter yields a tractor bucket every day.
Meanwhile, large piles of seasoned organic
material are watered & turned every day. The run-off drains into
four 2,000 gallon tanks. The compost tea is then pumped into spray
tanks that water the tress and golf course.
